Trick Williams vs. Pete Dunne, three-way number one contender’s tag match set for WWE NXT

Pete Dunne and Trick Williams will meet on Tuesday.
It was announced during No Mercy that the two will meet on the next episode of NXT. At the end of Sunday’s premium live event, Dunne dragged Williams, who had been the special guest referee for the main event, out of the ring and gave him the bitter end on the floor.
Dunne has jumped Williams on several occasions in recent weeks, telling Williams to “figure it out.” At the Great American Bash on August 6, Dunne defeated Williams in a match.
Also added to Tuesday’s show is a three-way tag team match with Hank Walker & Tank Ledger taking on The Rascalz and Gallus. The winners of the match will face new champions Nathan Frazer & Axiom on the September 10 edition of NXT. The Rascalz issued a challenge to the new champion on Sunday, saying while MSK came up short, The Rascalz have not.
After a recent confrontation, Oro Mensah will face Lexis King on this week’s NXT.
Here is the updated card for Tuesday’s show:
- Trick Williams vs. Pete Dunne
- Three-way number one contender’s match for NXT Tag Team titles: Hank Walker & Tank Ledger vs. The Rascalz vs. Gallus
