Two title matches, Joe Hendry vs. Keanu Carver added to WWE NXT Revenge week 2
New matches have been added to the second night of NXT Revenge.
Both North American titles will be on the line. Robert Stone on Tuesday agreed with Blake Monroe that she should get a title rematch, but Tatum Paxley would only agree if she got to pick the stipulation. Later, Paxley told Robert Stone she wanted a casket match, pointing to Shiloh Hill nearby who had constructed a casket for her.
The men’s North American title will also be on the line when Myles Borne defends against Dion Lennox. Borne called out Lennox over his attack at Stand & Deliver and eventually agreed to a title match for next week. But the segment also highlighted tension between Shaquon Shugars and Lennox, with Shugars again accusing Lennox of thinking about himself more than about DarkState. The two argued more later in the show, with Osiris Griffin and Cutler James attempting to make peace.
A match to determine the new men’s Speed Champion was also decided on Tuesday, when EK Prosper defeated Dorian Van Dux with a moonsault with seven seconds left in the match. He will face Lexis King next week to crown a new champion.
Joe Hendry and Keanu Carver will meet after Carver crashed Hendry’s concert, where he attempted to explain his future following his title loss. The two quickly got into a fight and despite security attempting to break it up, Carver ended up laying everyone out, bloodying Hendry in the process.
