WWE moved its premium live events to ESPN last September, beginning with the WWE WrestlePalooza PLE. WWE continues to have a presence on Peacock, with Saturday Night’s Main Event streaming on the service under a multi-year agreement.
In November 2023, The CW and WWE announced a five-year deal for The CW to become the exclusive broadcast home of NXT, with the deal taking effect in October 2024.
NXT as a television show has existed for more than 16 years, having premiered on Syfy on February 23, 2010, replacing the ECW brand in that time slot. NXT later moved to WWE.com before eventually becoming part of WWE Network programming in 2014.
