WWE announces Killian Dain vs. Roderick Strong for Tuesday’s NXT

Killian Dain is set to face off with a member of the Undisputed Era on NXT this week.

WWE announced today that Dain vs. Roderick Strong will take place on this Tuesday’s episode of NXT. This is the fourth match to be announced for the show. It will also feature Finn Balor vs. Adam Cole for the vacant NXT Championship, Rhea Ripley vs. Mercedes Martinez in a steel cage match, and Bronson Reed vs. Austin Theory.

On an episode of NXT last month, Undisputed Era interrupted a match between Dain and Drake Maverick and attacked them both before Cole cut a promo on Pat McAfee. Kyle O’Reilly then defeated Maverick on NXT two weeks ago. Strong and Bobby Fish tried to attack Maverick after the match, but Dain came out to the ring to make the save. Maverick thanked Dain for saving him, but Dain then laid out Maverick with a clothesline.

Amid the NHL playoffs, NXT aired on Tuesday last week and is again airing on Tuesday this week. The NXT title match between Balor and Cole will open this Tuesday’s episode. Ripley and Martinez’s steel cage match will main event the show.
