WWE confirms NXT Deadline special for December 10

An NXT streaming special is officially set to take place this December.

On a media conference call on Friday, Shawn Michaels confirmed that a special event named “NXT Deadline” will be held on Saturday, December 10. The show will stream live on Peacock/WWE Network.

December 10 is the same day as ROH Final Battle, though the shows may start at different times. Fightful reported that the plan is for NXT Deadline to run at night, while Final Battle will have a special start time of 4 p.m. Eastern.

UFC 282 is also scheduled for December 10.

Following this Saturday’s Halloween Havoc event, Deadline will be NXT’s final streaming special of 2022.

WWE filed a trademark for “NXT Deadline” on October 15.

Michaels, who took on an increased role with NXT in 2021, is currently in charge of the brand. He was promoted to WWE’s Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative this September.
