WWE hires Eddie Dennis as NXT writer/producer

Eddie Dennis is back in WWE.

The former NXT UK talent has been hired as a writer/producer for the NXT brand. Dennis had been with the company as a wrestler from 2018 until being released with several other members of the NXT UK roster last August.

WWE posted a video to LinkedIn on Wednesday announcing the hiring of several new employees, including Dennis.

Dennis announced his retirement from in-ring competition at RevPro’s Revolution Rumble in London on March 27. During his 15-year in-ring career, Dennis won titles for promotions such as Progress and Attack! Pro Wrestling.

In NXT UK, Dennis was part of the Symbiosis faction along with Primate, Wild Boar, and T-Bone. They feuded with members of Gallus in 2021 but all three of his stablemates ended up turning on Dennis and disbanding the group on the June 9, 2022 episode. His final match with the promotion aired on August 18, 2022, as he teamed with Saxon Huxley and was defeated by Chase U.
