WWE NXT announces storyline suspension for Gallus
WWE NXT has announced a storyline suspension for Gallus.
Following their main event Pub Rules match against Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen on Tuesday’s NXT show, Gallus’ Mark Coffey, Joe Coffey, and Wolfgang attacked security guards and referees as they were being separated from Briggs and Jensen.
WWE later announced on social media that for those actions, the Coffey brothers and Wolfgang have been suspended indefinitely, effective immediately.
WWE’s statement reads:
“Due to Gallus’ actions involving the assault of WWE officials and security after their Pub Rules Tag Team Match, Wolfgang, Mark & Joe Coffey have been suspended indefinitely, effective immediately.”
Briggs and Jensen defeated Mark Coffey and Wolfgang in the Pub Rules match, blowing off a feud between the two teams.
Joe Coffey had been banned from ringside for the Pub Rules match after assaulting a security guard earlier in the show, but ran in during the main event bout anyway.
