WWE NXT draws record-low viewership, demo rating

Against major sports competition, NXT hit the lowest marks it's ever done on USA.

Tuesday's NXT averaged 533,000 viewers on the USA Network, down 19.4 percent from last week. It's the lowest audience the show has done to date for an episode that aired on USA Network.

In the 18-49 demo, NXT drew a 0.10 rating, which was down 23.1 percent from last week. The show finished 51st on cable in that category, and it's also the lowest rating NXT has ever done on USA Network.

The show had major competition from the NBA playoffs and -- to a lesser extent -- the NHL playoffs. The NBA game airing on TNT head-to-head with NXT averaged 3.8 million viewers and drew a 1.3 rating in 18-49. The early NHL game averaged 829,000 viewers and drew a 0.27 on ESPN, while the late game averaged 653,000 viewers and drew a 0.25. Portions of both NHL games aired against NXT.

Detailed demo information isn't available since NXT failed to chart in the top 50.

As compared to the same week in 2021, NXT was down 41.2 percent in overall audience and down 23.5 percent in 18-49.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for NXT. This week's episode was down 12.5 percent in viewers and down 23.1 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages in both categories.
