WWE NXT ratings dunked by NBA & NHL playoffs
This past Tuesday’s WWE NXT averaged 541,000 viewers on The CW, down 8.5% from last week’s 591,000 and tying the lowest audience it’s done since December 2, 2025.
It also averaged a 0.07 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 30% from the previous week and tying the lowest rating the show has ever done in that category on either The CW, USA, or any other network the show appeared on.
It was the unofficial launch of “NXT 4.0” with many debuts after a slew of main roster callups.
The show went head-to-head with NBA playoff games on both ESPN and NBC as well as the NHL playoffs on TNT. As it does most weeks, it finished last among English language network TV shows in both total viewers and 18-49 rating.
As compared to the same week in 2025, overall viewership was down 19.7% while the 18-49 rating was down 53.3%.
