WWE NXT ratings up for CM Punk appearance

Tuesday night’s WWE NXT episode, featuring an appearance by CM Punk, averaged 677,000 viewers on USA Network. That’s up 7.8 percent from last week and is the best audience total for the show since June 18.

NXT finished first on the prime-time cable charts — and fifth on all of television — with a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 0.5 percent from last week. It’s the highest rating the show has done in that category since July 9.

There was no major sports competition on the night as the highest rated game was the MLB on TBS which averaged 384,000 viewers and drew a 0.08 rating in 18-49.

As compared to the same week in 2023, NXT’s overall viewership was down 17.8 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 12.5 percent. It’s the ninth week out of the last 10 that the show has had a year-over-year decline in both categories.

This was the second-to-last episode of NXT before the show moves to The CW on October 1.
