Trick Williams teaming with Joe Hendry & Mike Santana on WWE NXT

Before their TNA World Championship match at Slammiversary, Trick Williams, Joe Hendry & Mike Santana will need to get on the same page for a six-man tag match on WWE NXT.

Williams, Hendry & Santana are set to face three members of DarkState on NXT this Tuesday night. The match was made as the result of an angle that went down this afternoon at Great American Bash, which saw DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars & Osiris Griffin) attack Hendry and Santana and leave them laying.

A contract signing took place today to make Williams vs. Hendry vs. Santana official for the July 20 TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view. Despite whatever differences they may have with each other, Hendry and Santana vowed that one of them will win at Slammiversary and bring the TNA World Championship back where it belongs. They ended the contract signing by putting Williams through a table.

Hendry and Santana didn’t get to stand tall for long, though, as they were soon ambushed by DarkState.

Williams was not attacked by DarkState, but he denied having any association with the group. NXT General Manager Ava said that, if that’s the case, Williams won’t have any problem teaming with Hendry & Santana to take them on.

There have now been two matches confirmed for Tuesday’s Great American Bash fallout edition of NXT:

WWE NXT (Tuesday, July 15) —

  • Six-man tag match: Trick Williams, Joe Hendry & Mike Santana vs. DarkState
  • Triple threat match: Tony D’Angelo vs. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs. Luca Crusifino
