WWE announces special NXT episode for next month
Next month, WWE NXT will hold a special television episode in New York City.
It was announced today that The Theater at Madison Square Garden will host the Tuesday, November 18 episode of NXT, airing live on The CW at 8 p.m. Eastern time. With a listed capacity of 5,570, the venue is a smaller theater that’s part of MSG. NXT held its Roadblock special at the theater this March.
The show is taking place one day after MSG hosts the November 17 episode of Raw, which is being built around John Cena’s last-ever WWE appearance in New York City before retirement.
Tickets for the NXT show are going on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Eastern time on Wednesday, October 8. A pre-sale — using the access code “WWEVIP” — will begin on October 6 at that same time.
A press release lists that Ricky Saints, Jacy Jayne, Ethan Page, Trick Williams, and Sol Ruca will be appearing. Of note, a graphic for the show also includes Oba Femi. Fans have been speculating whether he’s headed to the main roster after having dropped the NXT Championship to Saints last weekend.
