Several months after suffering a scary-looking leg injury, Blair Davenport is returning to action.
A video aired on NXT UK this week revealing that Davenport (Bea Priestley) is returning to the ring. Davenport issued a warning putting the NXT UK roster on notice.
A return date for Davenport wasn't announced.
Davenport's injury happened during a Japanese Street Fight against Meiko Satomura for the NXT UK Women's Championship. The match aired on NXT UK this February.
During the street fight, Davenport jumped off the top rope and gave Satomura a double stomp as Satomura was on the apron. Davenport's ankle landed badly, the match was stopped, and Davenport was stretchered out.
Davenport posted a picture of herself on crutches and with her leg in a boot after the street fight aired. She thanked everyone for the love they sent her and stated that she would be back in the ring "before you know it."
The street fight was Davenport's second time unsuccessfully challenging Satomura for the NXT UK Women's Championship.
Davenport formerly wrestled for Stardom and AEW. It was announced in July 2021 that she had signed with WWE.
