WWE NXT unveils next week’s lineup
Three matches are official for the Tuesday, September 2 episode of WWE NXT TV.
On the road to No Mercy, NXT Champion Oba Femi and his next challenger Ricky Saints will team up as part of an eight-man tag on next week’s show, as Femi, Saints, and former Tag Team Champions Hank Walker and Tank Ledger take on DarkState’s Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Cutler James, and Saquon Shugars.
Lennox and Griffin defeated Walker and Ledger for the NXT Tag Team titles at Heatwave last Sunday, while Starks won a number one contender’s match on this week’s NXT TV to earn a shot at Femi’s title at the No Mercy PLE.
The first match in the newly-announced WWE Speed Women’s Championship tournament is also set for next week’s show, with Candice LeRae facing Xia Brookside of TNA Wrestling.
Jaida Parker and Lash Legend will also look to resolve their recent issues in a one-on-one matchup next week.
