WWE NXT video highlights: Strong vs. Theory, Lee & Lio Rush team up
Last night’s Christmas Day episode of NXT featured matches taped at Full Sail University and the Barclays Center.
Austin Theory made his NXT TV in-ring debut by answering Roderick Strong’s North American title open challenge at the start of the show. In the main event, Keith Lee & Lio Rush teamed against Damian Priest & Tony Nese.
Shotzi Blackheart also made her NXT TV debut against Bianca Belair, and Dominik Dijakovic vs. Bronson Reed, Candice LeRae vs. Taynara, and Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Jack Gallagher aired on the show.
It was also announced that Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish) will face Imperium (WALTER, Alexander Wolfe, Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner) in an eight-man tag match at Worlds Collide in Houston, Texas on Saturday, January 25.
