WWE NXT wrestler injured at house show
A WWE NXT Champion was apparently injured Thursday night at a house show.
In a tag team bout at Thursday’s NXT house show in Columbus, Ohio, NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne suffered an apparent leg injury in a tag team match pitting Jayne and Fallon Henley against Sol Ruca and Zaria.
A report indicates that Jayne suffered a possible quadriceps injury during the tag bout and tagged out of the match for the finish. The report goes on to state that the referee threw up the dreaded “X” sign indicating a legitimate injury, and that medical personnel had to help Jayne to the back following the bout.
Jayne has held the NXT Women’s title since May of this year after defeating Stephanie Vaquer for the gold on an episode of NXT TV. Jayne has been bitten by the injury bug before, including suffering a broken nose in a match in April 2024.
