WWE NXT’s Noam Dar out of action after suffering ‘torn tendon’

Meta-Four leader Noam Dar addressed his injury absence in a segment on Tuesday’s WWE NXT.

In a backstage promo segment involving the other members of the Meta-Four group, Dar appeared via FaceTime, revealing that he had suffered a “torn tendon” in his leg, attributing the injury to the attack by Ethan Page on the May 28 WWE NXT episode.

Dar was laid out backstage on that show by a mystery attacker, later revealed to be the debuting Page. Meta-Four’s Oro Mensah has since been targeting Page as a way to get revenge for the fallen Dar.

WWE has yet to release information as to the type of torn tendon Dar suffered, or whether the injury is real or storyline.

Mensah delivered a promo in the segment on Tuesday’s show explaining his background:

Page was added to the NXT Championship match set for Heatwave on July 7 at the conclusion of Tuesday’s WWE NXT episode.
