Former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion Zoey Stark has undergone surgery for the injury that she suffered at Halloween Havoc.

Stark posted a tweet today confirming that she suffered a torn ACL and torn meniscus at Halloween Havoc. In storyline, Stark blamed the injury on being attacked by Toxic Attraction's Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne on last week's NXT.

Stark noted that surgery went well and she's already started her post-surgery rehab.

"Sadly, I tore my ACL/Meniscus due to Toxic's attack. Here's the bad news for the 'champs'. Surgery went great and I'm already rehabbing," Stark tweeted. "I'll be back BETTER & STRONGER with three targets in mind! Until then @shirai_io @KacyCatanzaro @wwekayden kick their ass tonight! @WWENXT"

Dolin & Jayne defeated Shirai & Stark and Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta in a triple threat Scareway to Hell ladder match to win the NXT Women's Tag Team titles at Halloween Havoc on October 26. Dave Meltzer reported last week that Stark would be undergoing surgery after suffering a knee injury in the match.

Shirai, Kayden Carter & Kacy Catanzaro are facing Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Dolin & Jayne) in a six-woman tag match on NXT tonight. The match was set up when Carter and Catanzaro saved Shirai from a beatdown by Toxic Attraction on last week's show.

Rose is the NXT Women's Champion.

Stark wrestled under the name Lacey Ryan before signing with WWE this January.
