WWE Speed Women’s title tournament to begin on next NXT

The WWE Speed Women’s Championship is now vacant with a tournament to crown a new champion to begin on next week’s NXT TV.

WWE Speed Women’s Champion Sol Ruca vacated her title due to injury on Tuesday’s WWE NXT episode, with NXT GM Ava announcing a tournament to crown a new champion will begin on the Tuesday, November 4 episode.

Rather than have her tag partner Zaria defend the Speed title in her place, Ruca opted to give up the title in storyline. Zaria then indicated that she will wrestle in the tournament.

In addition to the new tournament, two more matches are set for next week’s episode.

New NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley will team with Lola Vice and Izzi Dame against the Fatal Influence trio (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, Lainey Reid) on next week’s show. Je’Von Evans vs. Saquon Shugars of DarkState is also on tap for next week.
