Trent Seven to ‘address the NXT UK Universe’ next week

On next week’s NXT UK, Trent Seven will address Moustache Mountain’s Tag Team title loss for the first time

WWE has announced that Seven will “address the NXT Universe” on next Thursday’s NXT UK episode. Seven, who had been teasing on NXT UK television that he would retire if Moustache Mountain lost their titles, will reveal what’s next for him.

Issues between Seven & Tyler Bate that had been building for months led to them dropping the NXT UK Tag Team titles last week. Oliver Carter & Ashton Smith defeated Seven & Bate and Die Familie (Teoman & Rohan Raja) in a triple threat match to become the new NXT UK Tag Team Champions.

Leading into last week’s title match, Bate had been upset with Seven for repeatedly cheating to win their matches. Seven tried to cheat again by using an NXT Tag Team title belt as a weapon, but Bate stopped him from doing so. As Bate & Seven argued, Carter hit a dive on Bate. Smith then rolled up Seven to win the titles.

Seven walked off after the match and told Bate that he was “done.”

Moustache Mountain had been NXT UK Tag Team Champions since last December.

Next Thursday’s NXT UK will also feature a tag team match with Wolfgang & Damon Kemp facing Noam Dar & Sha Samuels.
