Cora Jade appears to have had surgery recently for a torn ACL.

Jade posted a picture of herself in a hospital bed on Tuesday afternoon along with the caption, “They say that your darkest hour comes before your dawn. TTYL.”

Jade suffered a torn ACL at an NXT house show in Dade City, Florida on January 12. On NXT the following Tuesday, the commentary team stated she was injured while wrestling Wren Sinclair, but it was actually during a match with Lyra Valkyria that Jade sustained the torn ACL.

Shortly after WWE confirmed Jade’s injury, she posted to X, “It is only after we’ve lost everything that we are free to do anything.”

Jade ended up missing the number one contender’s battle royal on the January 16 edition of NXT as a result of her injury. The match was won by Roxanne Perez, who will now go on to face Valkyria at Vengeance Day on February 4 in Clarksville, Tennessee.
