Zaria turns against Sol Ruca on WWE NXT
Zaruca is officially over.
After weeks of teasing a breakup over and over only to remain friends, Zaria officially severed the relationship between herself and Sol Ruca Tuesday on NXT. As introductions were being made for the NXT Women’s title match, Zaria suddenly speared Sol and gave her an F5. The bell then rang and Jayne immediately hit the rolling encore for the win.
Following the match, Zaria dragged Ruca out of the ring and gave her another F5 through the announcer’s table, ending the segment by kissing Ruca on the forehead. Later in the night, Zaria told Jayne that she wanted a title match on next week’s show or what happened to Sol would happen to her.
Recent months had seen tension build between Zaria and Sol, with Zaria growing increasingly jealous of all the opportunities Sol was getting, including participating in the Royal Rumble and at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Last week saw Zaria tell off her tag team partner, only to come out for the save later when all three members of Fatal Influence jumped Sol during a promo.
