Andrade set for first post-WWE booking

Andrade’s first booking since being released by WWE has been revealed.

The Crash announced Friday that the former WWE and AEW wrestler will appear on their Friday, October 3 event set for Tijuana, Mexico at the Auditorio Fausto Gutierrez Moreno.

An opponent for Andrade for the October 3 card has not been revealed.

Word of Andrade’s WWE departure broke last week as his second run with the company ended with a release after what our Dave Meltzer reported was “a disciplinary thing” that was “not drug related, it was not alcohol related, it was not marriage related.”

Since leaving WWE, Andrade has posted short messages on his social media profiles thanking the promotion. He also has engaged in social media banter with AEW wrestler MJF regarding a potential match between the two in CMLL.

Andrade was with WWE from November 2015 to March 2021 in his first stint with the company. He requested and was granted his release in March, then joined AEW in June 2021. He was with AEW until his contract expired following the Worlds End pay-per-view in December 2023.

He rejoined WWE in January 2024, making the first appearance of his second stint with the promotion as a surprise entrant in the men’s Royal Rumble match.
