Andrade to appear at upcoming House of Glory event
Andrade has a new indie date announced.
House of Glory revealed on Monday that the former WWE star will compete at their No Turning Back event that will take place on February 20 in New York City.
“On Friday, February 20, 2026, Andrade El Idolo steps into a HOG ring in New York City!!!,” they wrote.
Andrade made a surprise appearance over the weekend during a HOG event, confronting HOG World Champion Charles Mason. That ended with Andrade laying out Mason and posing with the championship, indicating a future title match was coming.
The last few months have been tumultuous for Andrade, who was fired from WWE for cause in September. He attempted to make his return to AEW soon after, but it quickly became known that WWE had invoked a one year no-compete clause upon his firing, preventing him from wrestling anywhere. It was reported by Fightful on Monday that Andrade had secured a waiver from WWE through a new lawyer, allowing him to sign wherever he pleases.
In addition to his surprise appearance at HOG, Andrade also appeared via video at NJPW Road to Tokyo Dome, revealing himself as the new “business backer” for United Empire and will team with them at Wrestle Kingdom 20.
