Former WWE, AAA, and UFC star Cain Velasquez has been booked into Santa Clara County Jail in San Jose, California following a shooting.

NBC Bay Area reported that the shooting was reported at 3:14 p.m. Monday afternoon. One man was shot and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. People were asked to avoid the area after the shooting as police conducted the investigation. Velasquez is currently being held without bail.

A former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Velasquez left mixed martial arts in 2019 and started to make appearances for Lucha Libre AAA.
