Dr. Wagner Jr. issued a mask vs. hair challenge to Psycho Clown at the end of Saturday’s GCW if I Die First.
The main event had Wagner defeating Joey Janela. After the match was over Psycho Clown, who had wrestled earlier in the show, came out to taunt Wagner. Wagner cut a promo and challenged Psycho Clown to a mask vs. hair match that would take place at a GCW event. Clown, who continually threw chairs into the ring as Wagner issued his challenge nodded his head, accepting the challenge.
The show ended with the GCW roster coming out to separate the two. It was not made clear when the match would take place.
Earlier in the night, GCW owner Brett Lauderdale posted a tweet apologizing for what he described as an “incident” that happened during a meet and greet prior to the event.
“Apologies to those that witnessed the incident between Psycho Clown & Dr. Wagner during the Meet and Greet tonite in Dallas,” he wrote. “We had no indication there were any issues and are taking precautions to ensure there are no further incidents this evening.”
GCW’s next event will be Believe Me on February 19.
