Former WWE, AEW wrestlers win tag team titles in Mexico

Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows have added another set of tag team titles to their resume.

The Good Brothers won The Crash Tag Team Championships on Friday, November 7, at the promotion’s 14th Anniversary Show in Tijuana, Mexico. They defeated D’Luxe & Pierroth Jr. and defending champions El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno del Mal in a three-way match.

The finish saw Anderson pin D’Luxe after the Magic Killer.

Before the match, Wagner Jr. and Galeno del Mal cut a promo announcing their intention to vacate the titles, hinting that their commitments with AAA/WWE would prevent them from defending the belts regularly. This brought out the Black Rebellion team of D’Luxe & Pierroth Jr., who demanded a title shot, followed by Anderson and Gallows, who challenged both teams.

The impromptu title match took place at The Crash’s 14th Anniversary show, which was streamed live on the promotion’s YouTube channel from the Auditorio Fausto Gutiérrez Moreno.. The title change marks the 13th in the championship’s history, with The Good Brothers becoming the 12th team to hold the belts.

The segment begins around the 2:30:00 mark of the video below:
