Four Stardom names set for excursion, will miss 5 Star Grand Prix
A few Stardom wrestlers are going on excursion and will not be able to participate in the 2026 5 Star Grand Prix.
The Grand Prix tournament begins on July 18 and will run through August 23. It was announced today that Syuri, Ranna Yagami, Hazuki, and Fuwa-chan are unable to compete in the tournament due to excursions that will take them away from Japan.
Hazuki is in AEW at the moment and has picked up victories over Maya World and Persephone, with the latter of those being a first-round match in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament. The semifinals of the tournament will pit Hazuki against Mercedes Mone. They previously faced off at NJPW Strong Style Evolved 2024 with Mone getting the win.
ROH, Stardom, and CMLL are partnering together for a Global Wars card that will air on HonorClub on June 18. It will feature an ROH Women’s World Championship match with Syuri challenging Athena.
