Hulk Hogan’s restaurant will undergo name change

Hulk Hogan’s Beach, a restaurant adjacent to the Best Western Hotel Bay Harbor in Tampa, will be undergoing a name change.

Reports that the restaurant has closed are incorrect, as it was open for business tonight and is still using the name “Hogan’s Beach.” But owner Ben Mallah confirmed the name change was forthcoming, stating the entire property was in the process of being sold, although the sale wasn’t complete.

Hulk Hogan’s name was being used for the restaurant based on a licensing agreement.

The “Hogan’s Beach” sign in front of the restaurant has been taken down and replaced by a sign that reads, “Bay Harbor Hotel and restaurant.”

Employees were told that the restaurant was going to remain open but be rebranded.
