Jin Tala announced for first post-WWE appearance
Former WWE LFG and Evolve talent Jin Tala has been announced for her first indie booking since being let go by the company.
Beyond Wrestling announced Thursday that Tala, now wrestling as Lady Leigh (a play on her LFG name of Leigh Laurel), will debut for the promotion at their Novembercanrana event next month on Friday, November 14 in Cranston, Rhode Island at the Rhodes On The Pawtuxet venue.
Tala was part of the mass releases across NXT and Evolve earlier this month. She appeared on Season 1 of WWE LFG as Leigh Laurel, but was billed as Jin Tala in her Evolve appearances.
While primarily appearing on LFG and Evolve, Tala did make two in-ring appearances on NXT house shows on the brand’s Florida loop prior to her release.
Tala also revealed in a social media post last week that she is in a relationship with new WWE United States Champion Ilja Dragunov.
