Jon Moxley’s Bloodsport match has been announced.
Josh Barnett announced that Moxley would be facing Biff Busick. Moxley had previously been announced for the show, but it wasn’t announced who he would face.
“Busick wanted to enter Bloodsport at the top of the pyramid and Moxley is there to see him crash and burn,” Barnett wrote on Twitter. “A mat clinician takes on a human tsunami. Jon Moxley takes on Biff Busick at Josh Barnett's: Bloodsport 8.”
Busick, formerly Oney Lorcan, was released by the WWE on November 5 as part of budget cuts. He had been wrestling in NXT since 2015, where he is a former NXT Tag Team Champion with Danny Burch, who was released from WWE earlier this year. Busick recently made his return to the independent scene earlier this month, defeating Slade at Beyond’s Day 91 event.
Also announced for Bloodsport is a match between Minoru Suzuki and Chris Dickerson. Others scheduled to appear include Janai Kai, Masha Slamovich, Timothy Thatcher, JONAH, Marina Shafir, and John Hennigan.
