AEW name pulled from WrestleCon due to Stardom commitments, former Zelina Vega added

AEW’s Thekla, Julia Hart & Skye Blue win Artist of Stardom Championship

Julia Hart is no longer making the trip back to her home state for WrestleCon Minneapolis.

Hart was scheduled to be a guest at WrestleCon in Minnesota, but the convention announced today that she’s been pulled due to commitments with Stardom. Her WrestleCon appearance was set for August 1, when Hart will now be in Japan to face off against Hina in a 5 Star Grand Prix tournament match for Stardom. AEW faction Triangle of Madness (Hart, Thekla & Skye Blue) recently became the Artist of Stardom six-woman tag team champions.

Though Hart has been pulled, Thekla and Blue are still scheduled for WrestleCon. They’ll be appearing on Saturday (August 1) only during the three-day convention.

“Due to Stardom commitments, we unfortunately have to announce that Julia Hart has been cancelled from this event,” WrestleCon announced. “Ultimate Starz has already refunded all preorders.”

Hart did recently travel back to Minnesota for AEW’s Brawl in the Ballpark, an untelevised event that was put on in collaboration with the Minnesota Twins. She defeated Hyan on the show.

WrestleCon also announced today that Thea Trinidad, formerly known as Zelina Vega in WWE, will be appearing at the convention on July 31 and August 1. Trinidad is now officially a free agent after being released from WWE in April of this year. She’s confirmed “Xelina” as her post-WWE name.
