Last Man Standing World title match set for MLW Fightland

The MLW World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line in a Last Man Standing match at Fightland 2022.

It was announced today that Alex Hammerstone will defend his MLW World Heavyweight title against EJ Nduka at Fightland on Sunday, October 30. The match will air on a future episode of MLW Fusion.

Hammerstone’s World title reign recently reached the one-year mark. At last year’s Fightland, he defeated Jacob Fatu to become MLW World Heavyweight Champion.

Nduka is also a champion in MLW. He currently holds the MLW Tag Team titles with Calvin Tankman. They won the titles from 5150 at MLW’s SuperFight tapings this February.

The Fightland tapings are being held at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. Three matches have been announced for the event thus far:

  • Last Man Standing match: MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone defends against EJ Nduka
  • Jacob Fatu vs. Lio Rush
  • Willie Mack vs. Calvin Tankman
