MLW crowns new Tag Team Champions at Summer of the Beasts
Donovan Dijak and Bishop Dyer, billed as The Skyscrapers, are the new MLW Tag Team Champions.
Dijak and Dyer appeared as the surprise opponents for former champs Magnus and Rugido at Thursday’s Summer of the Beasts event and captured the titles in their first bout under their new billing.
A notable interpromotional angle also took place on Thursday’s card with AEW’s MJF attacking CMLL’s Mistico in a continuation of their feud from AEW Grand Slam Mexico.
Thursday’s event also included Matt Riddle successfully defending his MLW World title against KENTA, plus Ultimo Guerrero retaining the MLW National Openweight title in a three-way. The full show can be viewed in the embedded video below.
