Nick Hogan suing Bubba the Love Sponge over Hulk Hogan sex tape documentary

Nick Hogan is suing Bubba the Love Sponge.
Hogan, on behalf of his father’s estate, filed the lawsuit in a federal court in Florida according to TMZ. He is claiming that Bubba’s upcoming documentary ‘Video Killed the Radio Star: The Untold Story of the Hulk Hogan Sex Tape Scandal’ infringes on his father’s copyrights and trademarks, and is looking to stop the documentary from being released.
The lawsuit reportedly claims that the documentary, set to be released later this month, featured unauthorized images and video footage from the tape in a trailer Bubba recently released. Hogan also accused Bubba of violating a settlement agreement he and Hulk agreed to when the tape first leaked in 2012.
That year, the now-defunct Gawker website released footage from Hulk’s sex tape featuring him with Bubba’s former wife Heather Clem. Hulk sued Bubba and the two reached a settlement shortly thereafter. Hulk additionally sued Gawker for defamation, winning that suit. Additional footage released from the tape revealed Hulk using racist language, which ultimately led to him being removed from WWE programming for a time before being brought back.
Hulk would continue to be featured on WWE programing until his death in July.
