NJPW name wins PROGRESS Tag Team Championship

NJPW name Drilla Moloney won the PROGRESS Tag Team Championships alongside Man Like Dereiss at the company’s latest event this weekend (WonderBrawl II in Manchester). The team known as The 0121 defeated the Young Guns (Luke Jacobs & Ethan Allen) to capture the belts.

The Unbound Co member is now a two-time Tag Team Champion in the company, having won the belts with MLD at the PROGRESS Chapter 131⁠: 10th Anniversary Show in March 2022. This was the first event since the company was purchased by former WWE names Nikki Cross and Big Damo.

Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Kouga also appeared on the show facing Gene Munny for the PROGRESS ATLAS Title. Kouga is currently on excursion from NOAH, having wrestled in Europe for the likes of GWF, British Kingdom Pro-Wrestling, ICHIBAN and Attack Pro Wrestling.
