The NWA TV Champion has been cast in a horror film.

“Dolly” featuring Max the Impaler wrapped filming in Chattanooga, Tennessee recently, Variety is reporting. Max plays the role of Dolly in the film, who is described as “a monstrous figure.”

“Macy, a young woman, is abducted by a monstrous figure intent on raising her as their own child,” reads a description of the film.

The filmmakers have described the movie as “a blend of New French Extremity and 1970s American horror.” It also stars Sean William Scott (American Pie), Ethan Suplee (Babylon), Russ Tiller (Blood for Dust), and Michalina Scorzelli (Shoplifters of the World). Rod Blackhurst (Blood for Dust) directed.

“The film also introduces current NWA TV Champion Max the Impaler, aka The Non-Binary Nightmare, in the titular role of Dolly,” wrote Variety’s Naman Ramachandran.

Max last wrestled at the NWA Crockett Cup tapings at The OC Theatre in Forney, Texas last month. Earlier this year, they unified the NWA TV Championship and NWA Women’s TV Championship in a match against Mims.
