Rey Mysterio teaming with Pentagon at first Arolucha tapings

Arolucha, a new promotion run by Aroluxe, the former part-owners of Impact, working with Konnan as booker, announced its debut event at the same arena where TNA ran in its early days.

It’s been known they were doing a December 10th show in Nashville, but it was announced for the Fairgrounds, the former “Asylum” in the TNA days and weekly stop in the heyday of Jarrett Promotions and even dating back to the Nick Gulas era.

The idea is to attempt to do a Lucha Libre television show based around high flyers. The first show will be a pilot to attempt to sell the series and has a lineup of mostly wrestlers that work for The Crash promotion in Mexico.

The first show lists:

  • Rey Mysterio & Pentagon (using that name) vs. Rush & John Morrison
  • Jack Evans, Hurricane Helms & Maximo vs. Garza Jr., La Mascara & Daga
  • MVP vs Sammy Guevara
  • Keira & Lacey Lane vs. Vanilla Vargas & Taya
  • Demus 3:16 vs. Mascarita Dorada (who was El Torito in WWE)
  • Mr. 450 vs. Willie Mack
