Title Changes On This Day in Wrestling (July 15th)

Lou Thesz NWA World Champion

July 15th has been a slightly less busy day in pro wrestling title changes (than we’ve seen earlier this week), with wrestlingdata.com reporting that around 283 notable/major title changes have taken place on this date historically.

Some of the biggest changes include Lou Thesz winning the NWA World Heavyweight Title in 1955, Samoa Joe winning the TNA Tag Team Titles in 2007 (yes, by himself) and Shinsuke Nakamura winning the WWE United States Title in 2018.
