Happy July 4th if you celebrate it. As it’s a holiday there’s not a ton of title changes that have taken place on his date historically. According to wrestlingdata.com, 160 major/notable changes have taken place on July 6th since the 70s.

Some of the bigger ones include Perro Aguayo winning the NWA World Middleweight Title in 1975, KUSHIDA winning the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title in 2014, Finn Bálor winning the NXT Title in 2015 and the industry-changing moment that was….Big Show winning the ECW Championship in 2006 (don’t @ me on X I won’t answer).
