VIDEO: Being the Elite’s ‘After Wrestle Kingdom’ episode

This week’s episode of Being the Elite followed up on Wrestle Kingdom 13 and the announcement of All Elite Wrestling and Double or Nothing.

Of note, the episode ends with a cliffhanger where what appears to be Kenny Omega’s phone is found ticking like the countdown clocks that preceded the announcement of AEW. The storyline was foreshadowed shortly before the cliffhanger, with Omega saying he lost his phone.

The episode features a scene where The Young Bucks, Cody and Brandi Rhodes, and Hangman Page are shown signing their AEW contracts. As The Young Bucks are signing, Matt Jackson says the contracts could be the next five years of their lives.

Marty Scurll’s New Year’s Day party is another storyline included in the episode, and Matt Jackson says backstage at Wrestle Kingdom that it might be the last time The Young Bucks, Cody, Page, Omega, and Scurll are together for a while.
