VIDEO: Trailer released for ‘The Iron Claw’ Von Erich family biopic

The first trailer has been released for The Iron Claw, the upcoming biopic on the Von Erich family.

The movie is from A24 Films and is directed by Sean Durkin. It will be released in theaters on Friday, December 22. The trailer can be watched below:

The Iron Claw tells the tragic story of the Von Erich family, who ran World Class Championship Wrestling in Texas. Here’s the full description for the film:

The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. Through tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on the biggest stage in sports.

Zac Efron stars in the movie as Kevin Von Erich. It also features Jeremy Allen White (Kerry Von Erich), Harris Dickinson (David Von Erich), Holt McCallany (Fritz Von Erich), Maura Tierney (Doris Von Erich), and Lily James (Kevin Von Erich’s wife Pam).

AEW World Champion MJF also has a role in the movie, playing WCCW wrestler and fake Von Erich family member Lance Von Erich.
