WrestleCon Mark Hitchcock Memorial SuperShow 2026 takes place tonight at the Horseshoe in Las Vegas.

After the original main event of Ricochet and Leon Slater fell through, a replacement main event featuring JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey) and Michael Oku against The Demand has been announced.

Also booked for the show is Bandido vs. Galeno Del Mal, The Swirl (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) vs. Subculture (Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews), Masato Tanaka vs. Mark Davis, and The Headbangers (Mosh & Thrasher) will face Heath & Rhino.

Welome in, friends to a special night of wresting from the folks at WrestleCon. Beginning in 2018, the annual WrestleCon “Supershow” was rechristened the Mark Hitchcock Memorial SuperShow in honor of Mark Hitchcock, an artist and wrestling fan who assisted in DVD production for Highspots.

Tonight it kicks off Wrestlemania Weekend which is pretty much the wrestling world’s Superbowl, World Series and World Series of Poker.

The show kicked off with a tribute video to Hitchcock and then a special surprise guest, Teddy Long, playa! Long walked to the ring mic in hand and addressed the crowd. Long announce the first match and made it “a tag team match playa!!”

Heath & Rhino vs. The Head Bangers (Mosh & Thrasher)

The match was about to being when Mosh made an announcement: He tore his bicep and can’t wrestle, but don’t worry, he’s found a replacement: Headbanger Swoggle! Which changed the match to:

Heath & Rhino vs. The Head Bangers (Swoggle & Thrasher)

Thrasher and Heath kicked things off, locking up and going through an extended feeling out process as if they’ve never wrestled each other before. Heath hit a takedown and started crowing for the crowd. They locked up again and Thrasher dropped Heath with a hip toss.

Swoggle called for a tag and it was granted as he and Heath faced off, the crowd clearly carrying a torch for Swoggle. Swoggle said that he wanted Rhyno, so Heath tagged him in. Swoggle tried a scoop slam, but of course it was blocked.

Swoggle kicked at Rhyno’s shins, but no effect. He then bit him on the ass (yup, he really did that) and started throwing wee superkicks at the air. Rhyno, confused, bailed form the ring and Heath came back in, running right into a “takedown” from Swoggle.

Things continued at a snails pace from there. You see, Swoggle is wee and Heath and Rhyno aren’t. So all of the big/little jokes and spots you coudl think of took place until Heath changed the tone and punched Swoggle in the face.

He dropped some knees and then tagged in Rhyno who also took liberties with the smaller man. Mosh tried to coach from ringside, but the match went pretty much as you’d expect from there. Heath went up top and posed and Swoggle pulled him down in a Swoggle-bomb.

Rhyno and Thrasher tagged in and the pace picked up as they wrestled. Heath didn’t let that last long though, getting in the middle to take some Sweet Shin Music and a Swoggle chokeslam. Rhyno then speared Swoggle into next week and Thrasher stole the match with a rollup.

Match Result: The Head Bangers defeated Heath & Rhyno

Four Way Elimination Tag Team Match: CPF (Danny Black & Joe Lando) vs. Love And Peace (Ben-K & Hyo) vs. MxLx (Latigo & Toxin) vs. The StarMen (Starboy Charlie & Starman)

So, MxLx, formerly of AAA as part of Los Vipers, represented a luchadore style. CPF (Close Personal Friends) wore coveralls and came out to “Backstreet’s Back” which was fun. Love and Peace arrived from Dragongate with a stuffed panther and Hyo working a stiripper gimmick, including taking dollar bills in his pants (when in Vegas!). The final team, The StarMen, well, Starman was literally a guy from a video game with a star on his face and Starboy wore overalls and goes by “the Denim Dragon.”

Starboy and Lando started off with a technical exchange including a headscissor by Lando and a rapid fire series of pin attempts by both. Black grabbed a blind tag, and he and Lando double teamed Starboy until MxLx got involved and took out Lando and Black.

Hyo tagged in and Latigo and Toxin disposed of him letting Ben-K take them down with a double lariat. Starman came in next and took them both on, until Hyo clocked him with his stuffed panther.

After that, tags went out the window and it stopped mattering who was legal. Starman took out both members of CPF with a double DDT, but then he glitched (he’s a video game character, remember!) and Starboy had to pick him up and put him in the corner.

Starman rebooted and came back off the top with a moonsault to take out the field. CFP came in and threw Starman into the corner for a double Pele kick. Then they hit duelling shooing start presses and Black pinned Starman to eliminate the StarMen.

Love and Peace struck next with Ben-K spearing Latigo and then Hyo hitting a move from the top rope and making the pin to send MxLx packing. That left CPF and Love and Peace to battle for the win.

All four brawled in the ring, until Ben-K hit a double spear. Black responded with a cutter and Lando hit a reverse pile driver on Hyo and then black hit a high knee on Ben-K, leaving all four men laying.

They staggerd back to their feet with CPF getting split up. Black was sent to the outside and Ben-K speared Lando, allowing him to grab the pin and the win.

Match Result: Love And Peace defeated CPF, MxLx & The StarMen

After the match, who should wander through the curtains? The one and only Sgt. Slaughter! The Sarge led the audience in a “U-S-A” chant then called them scum, slime and maggots in that order. He welcomed everyone to WrestleCon and Wrestlemania and plugged his merch and signing times over the weekend.

Masato Tanaka vs. Mark Davis

The match started with Tanaka grabbing a headlock that Davis shrugged off. Davis knocked Tanaka down with a shoulder tackle, but Tanaka dropped him as he charged at him in the corner. Tanaka threw hands, but Davis hit a scoop slam followed by a senton.

Davis followed that up with a backbreaker and turned Tanaka over in a Boston Crab. Tanaka held on long enough to drag them over to the ropes to break the hold. Davis continued dominating with chops and knees to Tanaka’s gut.

Davis made a mistake and ran into a big boot from Tanaka who suplexed him after the fact. Tanaka hit a tornado DDT from the top rope and went for a cover but Davis kicked out at two.

Davis went for an Awesome Bomb, but Tanaka got out of it. Davis shoved him off the ring and chopped him into some empty seats. Davis then charged Tanaka in a move that would have broken the WWE barricades, but in this case, knocked over a bunch of chairs.

Davis went back to the ring and Tanaka followed, immediately eating some forearms and knuckes. Tanaka came back with a high elbow, then set Davis up on the top turnbuckle. Tanaka then superplexed him into the middle of the ring. Davis popped up with a brainbuster though and the two started trading lariats.

They traded forearms in the middle of the ring until Tanaka came out on top and knocked Davis down. He went for a sliding forearm, but Davis countered and threw a lariat that knocked Tanaka in circles. Davis hit a gut wrench pile driver and made the cover. Tanaka stayed down and Davis got the win.

Match Result: Mark Davis defeated Masato Tanaka

The Swirl (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) vs. Subculture (Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews)

Christian and Johnson have been making the ROH universe miserable as the Swirl, or Lethal Swirl or Twist or Lethal Twist for the last few months with Jay Lethal. Here, they went by the Swirl and we all said, sure why not. Subculture were around as part of the short lived NXT UK in various forms. At least, I’m pretty sure they were.

Any way, Webster and Johnson started things off with a quick exchange of technical moves until tags were made to Christian and Andrews. They ran the ropes at each other with Christian getting an armdrag. Andrews didn’t take it lying down though and popped back up for Christian to punch him in the face.

Webster made a quick tag and they isolated Christian in their corner for a series of moves. Johnson tried to help, but Subculture took care of him, leaving Christian to take a senton from Webster. Johnson sent Andrews off the apron, and then crotched Webster into a tree of woe.

That woke Christian up and they started spamming dropkicks everywhere. The dust settled and Christian threw Webster into the Swirl Corner (Also the name of my ice cream themed Kenny Loggins cover band) for some double teaming.

Johnson hit a dragonscrew leg whip on Webster, bending his knee in half in th most unfortunate way. Webster reached for a tag, but Johnson cut him off and Christian flew in with a clothesline.

Webster hit a double moonsault and knocked them both down. He crawled over and got a hot tag to Andrews who took out both Swirlers. He hit a falcon arrow on Johnson, but only got a two count.

Johnson came back with a chinbreaker on Andrews but a miscommunication let Andrews send Christian into Johnson, sending him to the outside. Webster hit a stunner and then Andrews hit a swanton on Christian (a combo they call Stun41 apparently). The Swirl regrouped and hit a brainbuster insiguri combo on Andrews. Webster broke up the pin.

They all traded shots in the ring until Johnson and Christian hit stereo superkicks. Subculture came back with a double headbutt and everyone was knocked down in the middle of the ring.

Webster and Christian rolled out, leaving Johnson and Andrews in the ring. Christian came back and took out Webster, then Johnson and Christian hit a Meltzer driver on Webster to get the win and send a message to some Youthful Bucks.

Match Result: The Swirl defeated Subculture

10-Person Tag Match: Vertigo, Gravity, LJ Cleary, Steph De Lander and Mance Warner vs The Beast Mortos, Derek Dillinger, Jimmy Townshend, Danny Jones and Lacy Lane

The women started off this unannounced match with De Lander using her size advantage to keep Lane at bay. Warner and Dillinger came in next to trade chops and open hand slaps. Vertigo came in next to work with Townshend who ragdolled him around the ring. Vertigo hit a standing moonsault to get a near fall.

Vertigo looked good until Jones tagged in a towered over him. Smartly, he tagged in Cleary who tried to make friends with Jones. Jones just wanted to fight though, so they did that instead. Cleary tried to go on offense, but Jones overpowered him.

Gravity tagged in and so did Mortos. That picked up the pace significantly as they ran the ropes with each other hitting headscissors and takedowns until Gravity hit his slo mo headbutt that Mortos easily avoided because of said slo-mo.

Townshend tagged in and twisted Gravity’s nipples. Cleary and Vertigo met the same fate, but then De Lander tagged in and Townshend wisely stopped himself and tagged out.

Lane came in to face De Lander, but Cleary took her place and the two did funny stuff until Dillinger and Gravity tagged in. Gravity had a hard time against the larger Dillinger, but managed to get him with an armdrag. Gravity hit a powerslam and Dillinger rolled out.

Everyone did the Gravity powerwalk, eventually getting to the other side of the ring where no one was waiting for them to fight. Then everyone did the slo mo spot. I mean everyone. The ref included. The crowd even started a very slow “this… is… awesome…” chant.

Dillinger called “cut” (he works a movie director gimmick) and everyone returned to 1x speed. Gravity hit a suicide dive and took out the field. Back in the ring he and Mortos squared off in slo motion until Mortos got him with a backbreaker and a discus lariat.

Vertigo came in and countered a move into a DDT on Mortos. He hit him with a Shining Wizard, but Dillinger broke up the pin. Dillinger hit a spinning slam on Vertigo, but Cleary came in with a dropkick. Lane then rolled through on Cleary and hit him with a kick before dropping him on his head.

De Lander arrived and hit a sit out powerbomb on Lane. Townshend then nailed her with a moonsault which brought in Warner who hit him with a headbutt and then a lariat. Jones tried to make the save and he and Warner went at it with Jones getting a falcon arrow in.

Jones hit a piledriver on Cleary on the ring apron (the slo-mo-est part of the ring!) and Warner came in to superplex him about it. Vertigo then cleared the ring and De Lander hit a spear on Jones. Warner brought in a chair and smacked Jones in the spine with it.

Warner hit a tornado DDT off the chair and then Gravity landed a splash for a two-count. Mortos got caught by a Cleary kick and countered with a spear and shoulder piledriver to get the victory.

Match Result: The Beast Mortos, Derek Dillinger, Jimmy Townshend, Danny Jones and Lacy Lane defeated Vertigo, Gravity, LJ Cleary, Steph De Lander and Mance Warner

Bandido vs. Galeno Del Mal

For those not in the know, Del Mal is the youngest son of Dr Wagner Jr of AAA. He’s kind of like if Bronson Reed decided he really wanted to be a luchadore. Bandido is, of course, the ROH World Champion. Regular ROH watchers/recap readers will know him as the guy who’s never on ROH, as is tradition with the ROH World Champion.

They locked up off the top with Del Mal dragging Bandido into a headlock. Bandido got out of it though, countering Del Mal’s strength with his agility. Del Mal dropped Bandido with a shoulder though and got a two count.

Del Mal chopped Bandido in the corner, but Bandido came back with a flying headscissor off the top rope. Del Mal sent Bandido to the outside with a clothesline and then followed after him. He banged Bandido’s head off the steel steps and then threw him into the audience and their convention center chairs (you know the ones I mean).

Del Mal went to hit Bandido’s head off the ringpost, but Bandido reversed it. He scrambled up and leapt off the apron, but Del Mal caught him and slammed him on the floor. He went to whip Bandido into the stairs, but Bandido countered it and sent Del Mal into them instead.

Del Mal charged at Bandido, who used his momentum to throw him into the chairs, in a measure of revenge from earlier. Bandido threw Del Mal back into the ring, but Del Mal started trying to take Bandido’s mask off. He actually tore it, exposing Bandido’s eye.

Del Mal hit a flapjack and a big boot for a cover, but Bandido kicked out at two. They started trading corner splashes until Bandido hit a side kick. Bandido hit a twisting crossbody from the top rope and then a tornado DDT. Del Mal went to the outside and Bandido hit him with a suicide dive.

Back in the ring, Bandido tried to get some mask revenge, but couldn’t get Del Mal’s to give. Bandido hit a thrust kick and then a frog splash from the top rope, but Del Mal kicked out at two. Bandido tried to get Del Mal up on his shoulders, but no dice. Del Mal hit an inverted suplex, but Bandido kicked out of the cover.

Del Mal went off the ropes, but Bandido caught him with a knee. Del Mal came back with a discus lariat and went for a powerbomb, but Bandido countered and charged at him, catching a boot to the face.

Del Mal went off the second rope, but Bandido caught him in mid air. Del Mal countered that into a senton for a two count. They got up and Del Mal dropped his elbow pad and threw a big lariat into a Michinoku Driver, but Bandido kicked out of the cover.

Del Mal came back with a big boot, but Bandido managed to pick him up for a powerslam. Bandido powered up and hit a 21-plex to finally put Del Mal away and get the win.

Match Result: Bandido defeated Galeno Del Mal

After the match, Bandido thanked the crowd and thanked WrestleCon for giving him an opportunity. He then gave Del Mal his props, telling the crowd that Del Mal was a student of Bandido when he was only 14 years old. He said that Del Mal will be the next superstar out of Mexico and they embraced in the ring.

Man Like DeReiss vs Ethan Allen

DeReiss is the current Progress World Champion and Allen is one half of the Progress and RevPro Tag Team Champions. So that’s pretty cool for an unannounced “bonus” match. Then, the Ref announced that the Progress World Championship will be on the line!

Allen came out swinging, but DeReiss was able to avoid everything he threw at him. Allen exited the ring to yell at someone in the crowd and DeReiss followed. Eventually they made their way back into the ring where DeReiss hit a few power slams. Allen came back with a dropkick, but DeReiss managed to bounce his head off the ropes.

DeReiss went up top, but Allen caught him and pulled him down. Allen threw some punches and whipped DeReiss into the corner. Allen threw hands, sending DeReiss into and off of the ropes for a kick to the back.

DeReiss started a comeback, but Allen cut it off with a takedown. They locked up and traded suplex counters until DeRiess mananged to get a brainbuster on Allen. DeRiess fired up with some clotheslines and then a high knee in the corner.

DeReiss hit a superkick out of the corner, but Allen kicked out of the cover. Allen countered a move into a back breaker and sent DeReiss to the corner where he dropped an elbow on him from the top turnbuckle.

DeRiess exploded back with a sunset flip and the two traded pinning combinations. DeReiss picked up Allen, but his back gave out and he didn’t get much on the slam. Allen came back with an insiguri, but DeReiss answered with a cutter and a spinning side slam.

DeReiss went up top and connected with a 450. Made the pin and got the three count to retain the Progress World Title.

Match Result: Man Like DeReiss defeated Ethan Allen

JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey) & Michael Oku vs. The Demand (Bishop Kaun, Ricochet & Toa Liona)

The Main Event of the evening featured a pair of AEW Trios teams with The Demand facing off against JetSpeed (along with Micheal Oku). Knight is also the current TNT Champion and Bailey likes to high-five people with his feet. These guys all faced off at a AEW Forbidden Door in August, so this would be a rematch of sorts.

Oku began the bout against Riccochet which made this wrestling fan very happy. Ricochet sent Oku off the ropes and the two flipped through some moves off the ropes until they both went for a dropkick and popped back up to stare at each other.

Liona and Kaun interrupted by running across the ring to fight with Bailey and Knight in the crowd. Ricochet and Oku went to the outside too and JetSpeedOku rane back into the ring so they could hit a triple dive on their opponents on the outside.

The brawling continued with Kaun chopping Knight into the crowd and Oku bouncing Ricochet off the ring apron. Baliey threw kicks at Liona before bouncing his face off the ring stairs. Oku went back into the ring to break the count and went to dive over the ropes, but Liona cut him off and he got tangled in the ropes.

Knight and the ref tried to pry him loose while everyone brawled around them. Oku got free, and Ricochet wrapped up is leg in a submission. On the outside, Liona threw Knight through the entrance stage’s backdrop.

With JetSpeed out of commission, Oku was left to fend for himself against all three members of The Demand. They traded tags, taking turns beating him up 3-on-1. Ricochet went for an arrogant cover, but Oku kicked out at two.

Kaun tagged in and started throwing chops as Knight and Bailey started crawling back towards the ring. Oku hit a high kick and reached for the tag to Bailey who made it back to the corner. Just as he was about to make the tag, Kaun pulled Bailey off the corner. Ricochet dragged Oku back to the Demand’s corner for more punnishment.

Oku managed to throw an elbow at Kaun followed by a missile dropkick. That gave him a chance to hit a leaping tag to Knight. Knight and Kaun fought in the ring with Kaun eating lariat after lariat. Knight hit a scoop slam and then a turning splash for a two count.

Kaun exploded off the ropes with a clothesline and tagged in Liona. Liona ragdolled Oku and then hit a senton for a two count. Knight got a tag to Bailey who used his talented feet on Liona who no-sold it. He scoop slammed Bailey, but missed with the senton. Bailey hit a missile dropkick form the top turnbuckle and Oku and Ricochet called for tags.

They collided in the ring with Oku planting Ricochet with a DDT. Liona pulled Oku out of the ring, but Oku moved on the charge and Liona went into the steel steps. Oku pulled down the ropes on a Kaun charge and Kaun went through to land on Ricochet and Liona. Oku backflipped onto them over the top rope.

Oku threw Ricochet back into the ring and went up top. Ricochet beat him there though and tried for a superplex. Oku countered it though and knocked him off. Kaun came out of nowhere though and dropkicked Oku off the ring post.

Liona picked up Bailey and Knight for a double samoan drop. Oku tried to help, but Ricochet got in the way. Liona hit a running suplex on Knight, but Bailey responded with some moonsault knees. JetSpeedOku hit a triple superkick, but Ricochet took out Oku and Knight.

Knight hit a diving forearm on Ricochet and Oku hit a frogsplash, but Ricochet kicked out. Oku cinched in the Half Crab on Ricochet, bending over in half and Ricochet tapped out. The only problem was that the Ref was dealing with a brawl on the outside and didn’t see it.

Liona and Kaun cleared the ring and put Oku up on their shoulders for a Galaxy Impact. Ricochet executed it, made the pin and got the win for The Demand.

Match Result: The Demand defeated JetSpeed & Michael Oku
