Raw star denies participation in upcoming match despite Adam Pearce’s announcement
Jacob Fatu denied that he would appear on the upcoming edition of Raw in response to Adam Pearce’s announcement.
The General Manager announced Fatu vs. LA Knight for the weekly program. Fatu questioned his authority citing his own orders from Roman Reigns, and then posted a follow up tweet that he is in San Francisco despite Raw being hosted at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. While it could be a swerve by Fatu to promote his rivalry with Knight, it remains unclear whether Fatu will actually miss this week’s episode of Raw.
“Who are you to tell me I’m working????
ORDERS FROM THE OTC, UR A** AP
CALI BOUND!!!SORRY TO THE D,” posted Fatu.
Pearce also announced that Seth Rollins will kick off Monday Night Raw following the events at SNME with Roman Reigns. Chad Gable and Danhausen are set to make appearances on the flagship program. Pearce gave insight on Gunther and Nick Aldis’ confrontation at Fanatics Fest over the past weekend.
On the July 13 edition of Raw, Knight issued a challenge for a six-man tag team match at SummerSlam. It would feature him teaming up with Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa against The Usos and Fatu. Meanwhile, Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins at the PLE.
