Deonna Purrazzo’s first defense of the ROH Women’s Pure Championship is set.

Purrazzo will defend the title against Trish Adora of The Infantry and Shane Taylor Promotions. The match will air on Honor Club. It was taped on Saturday at AEW’s live episode of Collision in Oceanside, California.

On the January 22 edition of ROH on Honor Club, Purrazzo issued an open challenge for the title. One month later, Ring of Honor’s social media accounts announced that Adora has accepted.

ROH wrote:

“The open challenge was issued and accepted! The #ROH Women’s Pure Champion @DeonnaPurrazzo takes on @TrishAdora202 of STP!”

The title match comes after Purrazzo was critical of the lack of defenses she’s had since winning the belt at ROH Final Battle on December 5.

In a recent interview with BCP+, Purrazzo called her inactivity “really defeating.”

“I think I’m a little disappointed to not have defended my championship yet. I am constantly trying to rack my brain of like what else can I do and what more can I do and how much more of myself can I give? And for that not to be reciprocated in any environment, not just in Ring of Honor, is really defeating for me.

Ring of Honor has also announced that it will hold standalone TV tapings in Jacksonville, Florida, on the afternoon of Sunday, March 1. It will be the first time the promotion has run standalone ROH tapings in two years.
