It’s 7pm EST, my fried egg sandwiches were a hit with the two tiny yet extremely harsh food critics who live in my house and it’s time for some good ol’ fashioned fights on Ring of Honor!

ROH World Tag Team Title Match: La Faccion Ingobernable (Sammy Guevara & The Beast Mortos) (c) vs Top Flight (Dante Martin & Darius Martin) (w/Christopher Daniels)

Kicking things off is what promised to be a great tag match. Top Flight want the titles and Guevara and Mortos (and Rush and Dustin Rhodes) have held them for 530+ days combined.

Mortos and Dante kicked things off with Mortos blowing snot onto Dante’s hand during the Code of Honor. Gross.

Mortos charged Dante, but he leapt over, coming back with a high knee to the jaw that seemed to upset Mortos. Dante hit a spinning kick and threw hands at Mortos who came off the ropes with a shoulder block.

Darius and Guevara tagged in and Guevera immediately started mugging with the crowd and tagged Mortos back in. Then Guevara decided that the crowd wanted him so he tagged back in. They tried for a third time, but Darius had had enough and dropkicked Guevara.

Guevara came back with a headlock takedown and then sent Darious out of the ring with a missile dropkick. Christopher Daniels gave Darius some words of encouragement and he got back in and tagged in Dante. They combined for a series of uppercuts, atomic drops and shoulder tackles on Guevara.

Guevara tried to escape to the outside and Dante hit him in the head every time he tried to get back in. Dante went to leap off the ropes, but Mortos distracted him and Guevara was able to sneak up from behind and lay Dante out.

Mortos tagged in and threw hands at the stunned Dante. He got a wristlock on and then tagged in Guevara for an axehandle off the top turnbuckle. Guevara beat up on Dante, isolating him in the corner so Mortos could lay him out in the center of the ring.

Dante fought back with a DDT and made a tag to Darius. Darious came in at the same time as Guevara and met him feet first. Darious hit a spanish fly on Guevara then took out Mortos on the apron. Mortos stormed back with a sling blade on Darious. Dante came in and Darious used him as leverage to hit a sattellit DDT on Mortos.

While Guevara knocked Dante out on the outside of the ring, Mortos hit a samoan drop on Darius and got the pin to retain the titles.

Match Result: La Faccion Ingobernable defeated Top Flight

Backstage, Jay Lethal addressed ROH World Champion Bandido while holding his stolen mask. He was just getting in to how Bandido’s days are numbered when Tommy Billington teleported into the scene and challenged Lethal to a match.

Six Man Tag Team Match: Michael Oku & The Von Erichs (Marshall von Erich & Ross von Erich) (w/Amira & Kevin von Erich) vs Oday, OXP & Timur The Great

No disrespect to Micheal Oku, but why does ROH continually think that the Von Erichs need more partners? Do they think the Von Erich thing only works in fours (Yes, I’m counting Kevin)? At any rate, this match against <gestures vaguely> these guys, looked to be a fun one.

Oku and OXP kicked things off with Oku landing a headscissor takedown. OXP didn’t seem to know what to do so he tagged in Oday and Ross came in with a high kick. Marshall followed and the two hit stereo splashes in the corner. Marshall hit a standing shooting star press and Oday tagged in Timur.

Timur didn’t last long though as the Von Erichs and Oku threw their opponents to the outside so Oku could dive on them. Marshall and Ross locked Iron Claws on OXP and Oday, while Oku put Timur in a boston crab. Somewhere in there, someone gave up or was pinned and the Von Erichs and Oku won.

Match Result: Michael Oku & The Von Erichs defeated Oday, OXP & Timur The Great

Persephone vs Julissa Mexa

Persephone seems primed to take her place atop the Women’s Division in AEW so it was fun to see her back in ROH for a few minutes.

The two locked up off the top with Mexa grabbing a waistlock that Persephone reversed. Mexa tried a couple of armdrags before doing an impression of the Bella twins. That opened things up for Persephone to take her down.

Mexa responded with a high crossbody, but when she went for a second, Persephone caught her and slammed her into the turnbuckles. She hit a big dropkick for a two count, with Mesa kicking right out.

Persephone then fishhooked Mexa, before throwing some punches. She gave the ref some great side-eye for not counting to three. Mexa was still dazed, so Persephone set her up for Shattered Dreams for some reason, then hit a dropdown on her in the corner.

Persephone in complete control stepped on Mexa’s neck over the ropes and then put on a headlock. Mexa started powering up, but Persephone put an end to that with a punch. Mexa scoop slammed her then hit a kick in the corner before scrambling up the ringpost for a missile dropkick.

The two started trading forearms and elbows until Persephone hit a bridging suplex for a two count. Mexa got back up and hit a pumphandle dragon suplex, but Persehone would’t go down. She hit a spear on Mexa out of nowhere and then dropped her with a crucifix bomb to get the pin and victory.

Match Result: Persephone defeated Julissa Mexa

Six Man Tag Team Match: Dalton Castle & The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) vs KM, Nathan Cruz & Rosario Grillo

Look, this match was always going to be awesome. Castle and the Ourtunners are three great tastes that taste great together. If they aren’t the #1 contenders to Shane Taylor Promotions’ Six Man Titles, I can’t think of a good reason why.

But this match was a crowd-pleasing six person squash from the start. They played all the greatest hits, quick tags, double elbows and power ups from Magnum and Floyd, killer suplexes and Bangarang from Castle. It was fun to watch, but was over before I could finish typing this sentence.

Match Result: Dalton Castle & The Outrunners defeated KM, Nathan Cruz & Rosario Grillo

Backstage, JD Drake called out Adam Priest. Drake said that he’s the reason people know who Priest is and the next time he see’s him, he’s going to beat the piss out of him. Because Priest pissed him off. Piss.
