ROH TV live results: Bandido defends World title vs. Bryan Keith

Ring of Honor returns to HonorClub tonight.

The only match announced for this week’s episode as of this writing is an ROH World Championship bout, with Bandido defending his title against Bryan Keith.

The match was taped on June 22 at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, Florida. Ring of Honor’s next set of tapings are scheduled for July 20 in Jacksonville. Following that, the next event the promotion has scheduled is Death Before Dishonor, which takes place on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

Bandido has held the title for 459 days, having defeated Chris Jericho for the belt at AEW Dynasty 2025. It is his second reign with the title, with his first having begun at Best in the World 2021, where he defeated Rush. He was forced to vacate the title before Final Battle 2021 after testing positive for COVID-19.

• ROH World Championship: Bandido defends against Bryan Keith

Our live coverage of tonight’s edition of ROH on HonorClub kicks off at 8 p.m. Eastern.

– We kicked off the night with a video package setting the stage for Bandido vs. Bryan Keith for the ROH Men’s World Title, which will be our main event tonight.

After the opening, it was on to our opening tag match:

Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) vs. Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson & Ace Austin)

Juice and Drake started off this tag match for their teams. After a feeling-out period with the chain wrestling, Drake held the upper hand with a front facelock. Juice got out of it and then rolled all over Drake, which upset Zack Gibson in the GYV corner. Drake fought back with punches, but he got felled by a shoulder block from Juice, who then did the “dog pissing” taunt on his downed foe. Drake dragged Juice back to his corner as Gibson tagged in. The GYV showed some great team work with Juice being taken out by a spinning wheel kick from Drake.

Legal man Gibson attempted a suplex, but Juice countered it and hit a strong axe kick on his foe. The tag to Austin as Juice slammed Gibson with a suplex. Juice and Austin performed the double Guns Up legdrop on Gibson. On the apron, Austin blocked Gibson’s attempt to trip him up as he hit him with a running big boot to his opponent. Austin headed to the top rope and leapt down to hit Drake with a kick to the gut. Attempted back suplex blocked by Gibson as the tag to Drake was made. The GYV hit Austin with a double rope guillotine, which allowed Drake to take advantage on his opponent.

The GYV hit the double clothesline on Austin, but that wasn’t enough for Gibson to pick up the win. Front facelock by Gibson led to a vertical suplex after some struggling. After a failed pin attempt, Gibson applied a chinlock that would make his fellow Brit Davey Boy Smith proud. The tag to Drake as another chinlock was cinched in on an isolated Ace Austin. The hold was broken by Austin, who used his strength to power into a Spicolli Driver. Gibson tagged in and attempted to stop Austin’s hot tag, but he couldn’t do so as the Juice was loose.

Juice hit the double high crossbody on both GYV members before he teed off on opposite corners with running attacks on Gibson and Drake. Juice punctuated it by sending Gibson right into Drake’s groin with the drop toehold. Bang Bang Gang hit the side Russian legsweep/springboard kick combo on Drake for a near-fall. Ace attempted to tag out, but that led to a roll-up from Drake for a near-fall. Gibson and Austin traded strikes before a blind tag allowed Drake to tag in. The GYV hit a flurry of double team attacks that culminated into a dropkick/Falcon Arrow combo that Austin kicked out of at 2.9999999. Gibson sent Austin out of the ring with a flip but he couldn’t capitalize just yet. However, a trap of the legs allowed Drake to hit a superkick. Juice Robinson barged right in and took out Gibson with the swingout DDT before he hit Drake with one of his own. Austin capped this opener up with The Fold for the royal flush.

The Bang Bang Gang def. Grizzled Young Veterans via pinfall

Quite an entertaining opener here tonght between the BBG and GYV. I quite liked this one, and the BBG’s win makes the ROH tag team scene all the more interesting.

The Frat House (Preston Vance, Griff Garrison, Jacked Jameson) vs. SkyFlight (Scorpio Sky, Dante & Darius Martin)

Vance and Scorpio started off with shots, but the former hit a cheapshot to officially start this trios match. Dante showed off his agility after being tagged in with an arm drag and forearm on Griff. Vance got Dante with a cheapshot from outside the ring, which allowed Garrison to take advantage, which allowed the Frat House to keep Dante isolated in their side of the ring. Quick tags amongst the Frat Club allowed them to keep Dante grounded. Elevated double spinebuster by Vance and Jameson as the Frat House trio continued their assault.

Dante blocked a suplex attempt from Vance, but he got punched down afterwards. Dante finally woke up with a suplex on Vance, which created some much-needed separation and the tag to Darius. As Garrison came in for his team, Darius took him down with a running attack. Running elbow to Jameson followed by a two-for-one running spear into the corner by Darius. Scorpio tagged in as his slingshot TKO was blocked. Jameson missed badly on the running attack as the Martins took out Vance and Garrison on the outside. Finally, the TKO by Scorpio on Jameson got the win for SkyFlight.

SkyFlight def. The Frat House via pinfall

An okay trios match. Not terrible by any means, but I didn’t really find myself hooked by this one.

– We got a video package from Lio Rush where he talked about “his shadow” as he was holding some slime in his hand. “The rain… the rain… no,” said Rush in his usual cryptic manner.

Royce Isaacs vs. Bishop Kaun

This hard-hitting bout kicked off with a very brief collar-and-elbow tie-up before Isaacs blocked a running shoulder block from Bishop. It turned into an exchange of running shoulder blocks that Bishop won out. Royce then grabbed at Bishop’s legs and attempted a submission hold. As Bishop reached the ropes, he kicked at Royce’s legs to take the early advantage in this match. Bishop hit Royce with chops to the chest before he targeted his legs once more.

Royce tried to punch back, but Bishop stopped that. However, Royce responded with a second-rope diving forearm that put Bishop on the ground. Royce chopped at the back of Bishop as he hit him with a kick, followed by the charging clotheslines and repeated strikes in the corner. Three-point stance by Royce turned into a running clothesline to Bishop. Royce lifted Bishop up for the pop-up Spicolli Driver for a near-fall. Royce attempted a half-nelson maneuver, but Bishop kicked at the thighs of his opponent. This allowed Bishop to hit some strikes before he shelled Royce with three German suplexes. One, two…. not quite. Knee to the face by Bishop, but that didn’t seem to affect Royce. Time for big meaty men slapping and kicking meat, but Bishop caught Royce for a standing Wasteland slam, followed by the Biyombe for the three.

This was a great, hard-hitting match that unfortunately was a bit on the short side. Honestly would’ve loved to see this go on a bit longer.

Mina Shirakawa & Queen Aminata vs. Sahara Seven & Kaci Lennox

Shirakawa and Sahara opened this match with a test of strength before the two traded strikes. Shirakawa laid in on the strikes to Sahara that sent her into the corner. Saharah missed with the attack in the corner, which allowed Shirakawa to go all in with a running clothesline. Aminata entered the match with a tag as she and Shirakawa connected with a double team attack on Sahara. Aminata held Sahara in a head scissors while Shirakawa kicked at her back. Finally, Kaci tagged in and stood face to face against Aminata.

Kaci connected with a suplex on Aminata, as she then hit her with a running flip neckbreaker. Sahara tagged in and hit Aminata with a spike cutter for the near-fall. Sahara lifted Aminata into a firewoman’s carry position but couldn’t capitalize. This allowed Shirakawa to tag in and unleash her whirling dervish offense. Kaci got hit with the tilt-a-whirl headscissors into the Fujiwara armbar, but that wasn’t enough for the win. Aminata took Sahara out of the equiation, which allowed Shirakawa to lock in the figure-four leglock on Kaci for the submission win.

Mina Shirakawa & Queen Aminata def. Sahara Seven & Kaci Lennox via submission

A fun, quick tag battle here. Sahara and Kaci got their licks in and looked great hanging tough against a team like Aminata and Shirakawa. Wouldn’t mind seeing more of them in the future.

Caprice Coleman Chops It Up w/ Action Andretti

In this sitdown interview, Andretti started off by stating that this segment sucked because of the guests that appeared previously on this “show”. Andretti said that he was making this show better just by appearing.

Coleman asked Andretti first about what made a good relationship as he brought up the situation with Lio Rush and the Cru. Andretti said he could trust Lio, but he when Rush turned into the “Blackheart”, it’s as if Rush became a different person. Andretti said that Rush was a crazy person, but not at the level that he’s showing as the Blackheart. He noted that he couldn’t associate someone like that.

Andretti said that he was being ignored by Lio Rush in the midst all of this, no phone calls or anything. Andretti noted that Lacey Lane might’ve been pissed by all of this because how she might’ve felt like on top of the world with the Cru… until the group just ended. Andretti said that he wasn’t going to watch Rush be this creepy monster and he was going to do something about it.

Andretti talked about how this “new version” of him was how he’s been always. He said that Lio Rush was never on his level. Andretti pointed out that maybe the Cru was never meant to be with him as the Sight To Seee and Lio as the Blackheart. The interview wrapped with Andretti refusing to shake Coleman’s hand.

Los Colons (Eddie & Orlando Colon) & Serpentico vs. The Lethal Twist (Blake Christian, Jay Lethal & Lee Johnson)

Lethal and Serpentico started off this match as the latter struck with a kick to the gut. Serpentico used his speed to avoid the Lethal Twist as he applied the arm lock on Lethal. Off the ropes, Lethal left the ring, but got chopped in the chest by Serpentico. Roll-up pin by Serpentico wasn’t enough to get the win, as the Colons hit Lethal with a double slam before Serpentico joined in with a running kick. Los Colons kept Lethal isolated from Johnson and Christian in this stage of the match.

Back in the ring, Johnson took advantage with kicks to Orlando before he battered him with punches to the face. The tag to Christian, as he hit a fierce running kick to Orlando before the Lethal Twist took over here. Lethal mimicked Jeff Jarrett’s Fargo Strut as he attacked Orlando’s legs with repeated elbow drops., Figure-four submission countered by Orlando into a pin for the near-fall. Orlando used this advantage to floor Lethal with a big spinebuster, which created a needed separation for Eddie to tag in.

Eddie unleashed the dropkick on Johnson, followed by the big spinning back elbow. Lungblower on Johnson only got a two as Serpentico tagged in with the Slingblade and things quicked up right away. Pure chaos as Christian got hit with the tilt-a-whirl backbreaker from Eddie Colon. Front facelock by Serpentico was blocked by Johnson, who pulled off Serpentico’s mask. This allowed Johnson to pick up the dubious, but effective pinfall win.

After the match, Blake Christian stole Serpentico’s mask.

The Lethal Twist def. Los Colons & Serpentico via pinfall

This was a good match, and the finish of Johnson pulling off Serpentico’s mask to pick up the win was a pretty creative finish.

– The Premier Athletes called their shots for the ROH Six-Man Tag Titles against Dalton Castle and the Outrunners.

Pure Rules: Mance Warner vs. “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard

Funny start to the match as Menard and Mance got into a competition of shaking hands with the crowd before two adhered to the Code of Honor to officially get us underway. Mance backed Menard into the corner as the two rapidly exhausted their rope breaks faster than Randy Arozarena and Alex Call running out their ABS challenges this week in the Majors.

On the apron, Mance chopped at Menard, but he got dropped with a modified uranage onto the hardest part of the ring. The cover in the ring, but Mance kicked out at two. Menard pummelled Mance with chops in the corner, but he found himself taking chops of his own. Mance threw Menard out of the ring as he pulled a chair. He set the chair in a seated postion to use it as a springboard for a DDT on Menard. In the ring, Mance pulled the chair back in and looked like he was going to hit Menard with it, but Bryce Remsburg told him not to. Mance again unfolded the chair and used it as a seat to put Menard into the sleeper hold in a seated position. Menard recovered as he broke out of Mance’s sleeper and hit him repeatedly with the elbows to the face. He connected with the Stunner for a two-count.

Both Menard and Mance traded strikes from kneeling positions as they got to their feet. Mance connected with the DDT for the three at 5:30.

This was quite entertaining, and the two being not familiar in the particulars of Pure Rules made for a very hilarious start with the burnt ropebreaks.

Kelsey Raegan vs. Isla Dawn

Technical start to this bout as Isla applied a wrist lock on Raegan before she struck with roaring elbows that sent Raegan into the corner. She missed with the elbow as Raegan responded with a running headscissors. Attack to the back of Isla’s head was followed by the back suplex by Raegan. Isla countered with a suplex of her own as she took over. Isla went for the cover but Raegan kicked out. Isla grabbed Raegan’s hair and then hit her with the high running knees for another near-fall. Isla applied the Cobra Stretch on Raegan, but that broke up.

Raegan found herself trapped into the stretch, but she broke free of Isla’s grip. Raegan responded with a big running kick as she hit a european uppercut. DDT by Raegan, but Isla somehow kicked out at two. Isla snuffed out all hopes with a kick to the face, followed by the side suplex and the Dragon Sleeper for the submission win.

I liked this match, especially with what Kelsey Raegan had to offer against someone of Isla Dawn’s caliber. Conversely, it’s nice to see Isla Dawn thriving here in the Ring of Honor environment.

Satnam Singh vs. Bruss Hamilton

This match started with Bruss attempting to take down Singh, only to get crushed with a big boot. Bruss tried to chop at Singh, but he got the full brunt of the gargantuan Singh’s chops and running attacks. Jawbreaker by Bruss bought him some needed time against Singh. However, he couldn’t lift Singh up for the slam, who instead put Bruss down for the scoop slam of his own.

Singh stepped on Bruss’s chest as he sized him up for a chokeslam. Bruss clipped Singh’s knees and looked like he’d have a shot at a a comeback, but Singh smashed him with a one-knee clothesline. This led to the big-man staple chokeslam from Singh and the three.

This wasn’t really good, but it was mercifully short. Not much else I can say about it.

– We got words from Il Cartello Grillo, who said that they were ready to take over ROH.

Nathan Cruz & Il Cartello Grillo (KayJay Impala, Rosario Grillo, Hayden Seal) vs. The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier), Ross Von Erich, & Marshall Von Erich

Wentz and Cruz got this match going. Wentz for a la magistral pin attempt, but that was kicked out of. Wentz hit a spinning splash from the second rope on Cruz as Marshall tagged in. KayJay Impala tagged in and the two exchanged big boots. Neither man could get an advantage as Ross tagged in and hit a double dropkick with his brother on Impala.

Ross hit Hayden Seal with a big running boot once, but he couldn’t connect after Rosario Grillo pulled his partner out of the way. This allowed Il Cartello Grillo to take advantage. Cruz tagged in and hit a rebound back suplex on Ross for another near-fall. Impala tagged in as he and Seal hit the inverted atomic drop followed by the dropkick. Seal dragged Ross back into the corner as Grillo tagged in and maintained his team’s attack.

Wentz tagged in and things began to quicken as he went to work with a big German suplex on Grillo. Rolling penalty kick by Wentz on Cruz was followed by the slam on Seal for the near-fall. Xavier tagged in as he and Wentz used their unique double team to nearly get the win as things began to break down with all eight men in the ring. Total chaos as the Von Erichs and Rascalz unleashed a fury of running attacks in the corner before the Von Erichs hit the Iron Claw on two of Il Cartello Grillo while Xavier got the pin on Seal.

The Rascalz & The Von Erichs def. Nathan Cruz & Il Cartello Grillo via pinfall

It’s always a treat to see The Rascalz in multiman action, and teaming them up with the Von Erichs was a smart move for this one. Entertaining contest here.

LSG vs. Tehuti Miles

Miles requested that his crown be taken off as he hit LSG with a sneak dropkick to start this match off. In the corner, Miles battered LSG for a bit, but he paid for it with the inverted atomic drop. LSG followed that up with a Stunner, followed by a dropkick. Miles battled back with a back elbow to LSG’s face. Miles unloaded on LSG with the running kick to the back of his foe, as he then connected with a powerful powerslam. Miles taunted the crowd on the top rope, which allowed LSG to get him with the strikes to the chest. However, the big boot from Miles put LSG on the canvas. LSG backed off Miles with a pair of kicks as he hit the back elbow and sent him into the corner for a roll-up attempt. The kickout, as Miles crushed LSG with a big clothesline. The running spear into the corner, followed by the Flapjack by Miles, who continued to confidently trash talk LSG. He hoisted LSG up for a modified Fireman’s Carry Driver for the win.

After the match, Shane Taylor Promotions appeared on the ramp and seemed to take interest in Tehuti Miles.

I liked what Tehuti Miles had to offer in this match. He came off fantastic here, and LSG wasn’t too shabby himself either. If Tehuti joins S.T.P., it will be a great thing for him for sure.

ROH Men’s World Championship: Bandido (c) vs. Bryan Keith

Bandido extended a handshake for the Code of Honor, but Keith kicked the hand away as we got going in our main event. Keith held Bandido in a arm wrench, but the ROH Champion got away and dodged the attacks. Keith removed his poncho as Bandido pointed his finger guns in his face. Keith threw the poncho at Bandido and hit him with a strike. Outside the ring, Keith threw Bandido into the barricades repeatedly to gain the early momentim in this title match. A chop to the chest by Keith dropped Bandido right away. Another set of chops by Keith, but Bandido absorbed them and tried to fight back. However, Keith took him down again with a chop to the chest. The fake-out by Keith allowed him to scratch at the eyes of Bandido instead.

As the two men got back into the ring, Keith hit Bandido with a hard kick to the chest before he talked some smack to his face. One more kick by Keith put Bandido down once more. The champ responded with an O’Connor Roll, but Keith blocked the follow-through and hit a big suplex of his own as a counter. Keith hit a big boot to the face of Bandido as he got another overhead suplex on his championship foe. Bandido recovered and hit a suplex of his own, but Keith went to the well twice more with suplexes. That didn’t help much as Bandido rolled through and got the big suplex that kept both men down momentarily.

Keith ran into a big boot and a European uppercut from Bandido, who then took off with the tornillo. A series of Superman Punches by Bandido staggered Keith as he hit a huge tope between the ropes to the outside. Keith attempted a sneak attack on Bandido, but was met with a kick and a springboard crossbody. Bandido hit an amazing pop-up X-Factor on Keith for close near-fall in this championship bout. Keith’s Thesz Press was caught by Bandido, but the challenger turned that into a sleeper that was wrenched in as hard as possible. A kick by Keith nearly had the match won, as he went for the spinning sitout powerbomb. One, two… 2.99999999!!!!!!!!! Keith had the fork in his hands, but Aubrey Edwards noticed it and took it out. However, Keith had a spare, but Bandido wouldn’t fall for it. After a big struggle, Bandido blocked Keith’s fork attack successfully.

Both men stared one another down as Bandido caught Keith and connected with the X-Knee. One, two… Keith somehow kicked outg at two! Bandido had high-risk on his mind as he headed up to the top rope, but Keith meth him at the pass. The standoff at the top ended with a Keith headbutt followed by a huge avalanche superplex. With Bandido dead to rights, Keith connected with the big knee to the face. One, two…. NO!!!!! Bandido blocked Keith’s butterfly powerbomb and turned it into a pinning combination from the hurricanarana for the three and the title retention in our main event.

Heck of a main event to cap off what was another breeze of an episode for ROH on HonorClub. These shows, even when they don’t quite bat at 1.0000 are still very enjoyable and you get more out of it sitting back and watching some no-frills good wrestling every week.

Even though Bandido retaining wasn’t really in doubt, there was still some really good drama in this main event match and I quite liked it. I wouldn’t mind Keith and Bandido running it back once more in the near future.

Death Before Dishonor is coming next month in Philadelphia and I expect the build towards that show in mid-August to take shape in the coming weeks of ROH on HonorClub. We should be in for a good night of wrestling once that card is all said and done and I can’t wait to see how ROH fills up the DBD card on the road to Philly.
