I dunno what it’s like where you are but where I am it’s darn cold. Which means it’s a perfect time to snuggle up with a cup of warm cocoa next to a roaring episode of Ring of Honor!

Adam Priest & Tommy Billington vs The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese) (w/Mark Sterling & Stori Denali)

Billington and Priest sauntered to the ring while Jay Lethal and the swirl cut a promo picture-in-picture about how they aren’t done with them. Then Priest and Daivari locked up to kick things off.

Priest’s strength seemed to be the difference, until Nese tagged in and the two double teamed Priest. Billing to grabbed a blind tag and dropped a big elbo on Nese off the ropes. Priest and Billington traded tags so fast at this point that they were pretty much beating on Nese 2-on-1.

Nese grabbed a hedlock on Billington, but Billington rolled through and they ran the ropes with Billington dishing out a bunch of shoulder blocks. Nese rolled out of the ring and Billington followed, driving him into the barricade. Daivari made the save though, sending Billington into the steps. Sterling and Daivari stomped him when Nese went back in to break the count.

Back in the ring, Billington went for a Piledriver on Nese, but his arm gave out. Nese took advantage and worked the arm harder. He wrapped Billington up in the ropes, stretching his arm around them. Then he hit a bulldog on the top rope and went for a moonsault. Billington moved though and Daivari got the tag to spell Nese.

Daivari and Billington collided with duelling clotheslines and Billington crawled over to get a tag to Priest. Priest nailed a German suplex off the second turnbuckle and then gave Nese a merry-go-round DDT. Priest chop-blocked Daivari and put him in a half-crab. Billington put a choke on Nese, but Sterling caused a distraction allowing Nese to break up the crab.

Priest started laying body shots into Daivari who threw a big lariat at Priest. Nese joined him for a double team, but Priest kicked out at two. Priest pushed Nese into Daivari and locked the half crab on Nese off of a dragonwhip leg screw. Billington kept Sterling at bay, but Denali snuck in and chokeslammed Priest.

Billington threw Daivari out of the ring and hit him with a suicide dive while Priest and Nese rolled around in the ring until Priest stacked him up for a quick three and got the victory.

Match Result: Adam Priest & Tommy Billington defetaed The Premier Athletes

After the match, The Lethal Swirl (TM) ran down and took out Billington and Priest. The Athletes watched. Lethal threw some punches and Christian put a figure four on Billington. They then stood in the ring swirling their fingers in the air. Because of their dumb name, get it?

Satnam Singh vs Josiah Jean and Dante Leon

(sighs) So, this was a 2-on-1 match for some reason.

Singh came to the ring. The bell rang. Jean ran at Singh, and he pushed him over. Then Leon ran at Singh and he pushed him over.

Singh put Jean in the corner. Chop. Chop. Then he put Leon in the corner. Chop. Chop.

Throw. Choke. Leon got a punch in. Club from Singh, double chokeslam attempt. Leon and Jean tried to get some punches in and then double chokeslam.

The end. #LOLSinghwins.

Match Result: Satnam Singh defeated Josiah Jean and Dante Leon

CRU (Action Andretti & Lio Rush) vs Alec Price & Jordan Oliver

CRU had the audacity to come to the ring with no jackets this week, but they did have nice matching tights. So, progress?

Andretti kicked things off with Oliver, taking him down to the mat. Oliver came back with a drop toe hold and grabbed a wristlock before tagging in Price. Andretti popped up and leapt over him in the corner before hitting some armdrags.

Rush tagged in and took over a wristlock, and the two ran the ropes with Price getting a wristlock on. He tagged in Oliver, but but Rush got a blind one in to Andretti and all four stood in the ring in a standoff until Oliver and Price jumped CRU.

Andretti and Oliver stayed legal and Price joined for a double team. Andretti got a big boot in the face of Price and tagged in Rush who set up Price for a double suplex, but Oliver caught him. Andretti threw a series of kicks and CRU kicked Oliver and Price off the apron to the outside. They hit a double dive on them and tossed Price back into the ring.

Price took advantage and dove onto them on the outside. They threw Rush back in and Oliver hit a high knee. Price went up there two and they hit a double facebuster off the top rope. Ruch kicked out at two though.

Andretti dealt with Oliver and then both members of CRU threw lariats at Price. Andretti and Rush landed the double suplex and Rush made the pin for the 1-2-3.

Match Result: CRU defeated Alec Price & Jordan Oliver

Six Man Tag Team Match: Dalton Castle & The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) vs Auzzy, Hitt and Gino Medina

Surprisingly, the opponents for Castle and the Outrunners were not a 70’s soft rock group like their names implied.

Magnum started off against the very skinny Auzzy and immediately they traded headlocks. Magnum threw a hip toss and Auzzy tagged in Medina. Median fell victim to an armdrag and some chops before Floyd tagged in. Hit a big fist off the second rope and Magnum popped back in for a double hip hop toss.

Auzzy got tossed to the outside where Castle stalked him around the ring. Hitt came intot he match and being a very, very large man, he threw Magnum into the corner so his team could work him over. Magnum fought back though and got a hot tag to Castle.

Castle started spamming belly-to-belly suplexes to everyone, including the very large Hitt. Castle and the Outrunners hit a triple body slam on their opponents and then a Sonuvabitch elbow on Medina. Castle picked him up for a bangarang and that was it. Castle and the Outrunners win again and all is right with the world.

Match Result: Dalton Castle & The Outrunners defeated Auzzy, Hitt and Gino Medina

-Backstage, ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazo issued an open challenge for her title. She wants to prove that she’s a fighting champion, so bring it on.

ROH Pure Title Proving Ground Match: Lee Moriarty [c] vs Matt Menard

The bell rang and the clock started. The two locked up with Moriarty going right for a pin attempt. Menard kicked out at two, and they locked up again. Menard grabbed a waistlock, but Moriarty broke it quickly. Menard then thew him out of the ring.

Menard went out to get him, but Moriarty had already gotten back into the ring. Menard’s strategy here seemed to be “yell really loud” because he was absolutely screaming through the whole match. He hit a shoulder tackle and headlock takedown while the clock passed eight minutes.

Moriarty wrapped Menard up in an armbar, forcing Menard to use his first his first rope break at 7:29. That seemed to confuse Menard for some reason and Moriarty kicked him in the gut about it. Moriarty shot Menard off the ropes and wrapped him up in an octopus hold.

Menard lunged against the ropes, breaking the hold and using a break at 6:15. He then thew a punch and got his one warning for a closed fist. Again, he seemed surprised at this.

Menard slipped out of the ring to catch his breath and when he got back in, Moriarty stomped him and pulled him to the center of the ring. He went for a suplex, but Menard blocked it with five minutes remaining.

Menard took Moriarty to the mat with a lariat and staggered to his feet. Menard at a forearm from Moriarty and the two traded blows. Menard rained down chops on Moriarty and hit a back elbow to get some momentum.

Menard hit a side Russian leg sweep, but Moriarty kicked out at two. The clock passed three minutes as Menard tried to put on a Boston Crab. Moriarty blocked it, but Menard tried again and locked in the crab. Moriarty crawled to the ropes, using a break at 2:18.

Menard went for a piledriver, but Moriarty rolled him up for a two count. He put on the border city stretch and Menard tapped out, giving the win to the champ.

Match Result: Lee Moriarty defeated Matt Menard

After the match, Shane Taylor and the Infantry and That Really Tall Lady ran to the ring to take out Menard. Skyflight appeared though and ran them off.

MIT (Billie Starkz & Diamante) vs Londyn Dior & Rachael Ellering

ROH Women’s Champion Athena accompanied her Minions to the ring, but left as the match started. Diamante opened the match with Ellering and the two powerhouses traded blows. Ellering took Diamante to the mat and then hoisted her up for what looked like a torture rack. We didn’t get to find out as Diamante squirmed away and the two traded pinning attempts.

Starkz tagged in and put Ellering in a headlock, but Ellering worked it into a wristlock. Ellering got tripped by Starkz and Diamante came in to hold her while Starkz kicked her. Diamante and Ellering traded chops with Ellering coming out on top.

Diamante and Starkz worked her over on the corner with Starkz going for a pin. Ellering kicked out and Starkz jawed at Dior. Starkz kneed Ellering in the head and shot her off the ropes. Ellering hooked an elbow though and Diamante came in. Ellering clotheslined them both.

Dior got a tag and came in to pick the bones of Starkz. Starkz went up top, but Dior knocked her off. Diamante came in and knocked Dior down so Starkz could hit her with a swan dive. Diamante put an ankle lock on Dior and she was forced to tap out.

Match Result: MIT defeated Londyn Dior & Rachael Ellering

Big Bill & Bryan Keith vs KM & Will Allday

So Big Bill is big and KM is big. Bryan Keith is a cowboy in shiny pants and Will Allday is… all day? Sure, let’s go with it. He was about Keith’s size though, so it works out.

Keith took off his cape and threw it onto Allday to start the match. He chopped Allday against the ropes but Allday sent him to the outside and dove after him. Throwing him back in the ring, Allday got caught by Keith in a suplex.

KM tagged in and Keith gave him a shot. KM shoved him and Big Bill took the opportunity to tag in and live up to his name. KM kicked Bill in the stomach, but Bill knocked him down. Bill charged him in the corner, but KM moved and hit a big splash.

Allday went up top and leapt into the ring, but Keith caught him with an elbow. They double teamed KM and then Bill caught Allday in a bear hug. He raggdolled him into a slam and made the pin.

Match Result: Big Bill & Bryan Keith defeated KM & Will Allday

Ace Austin vs. Johnny TV (w/Taya Valkyrie)

In my spare time, I’ve been watching a lot of John “Morrison” era WWE lately and it’s astonishing to see how little Johnny TV has aged.

Austin and TV locked up off the top with TV getting some shots into his gut. Austin threw off a waistlock and hit a dropkick, sending TV out of the ring into Valkyrie’s arms (not a bad place to be). Austin followed, but Valkyrie distracted him allowing TV to hit a neckbreaker on the floor.

Valkyrie stomped Austin while TV returned to the ring to break the count. TV came back out to make out with valkyrie a bit before throwing Austin back into the ring. Austin tried to catch TV unaware, but TV dropped him and put on a rear choke.

Austin bacekd TV into the corner, but Austin ducked the splash. Austin hit a leg sweep and then a leg drop before splashing TV in the corner. Austin hit a heel kick off the ropes and then a gutwrench powerbomb, but TV kicked out at two.

TV staggered to his feet, but Valkyrie caused a distraction allowing TV to set up Austin for Starship Pain. Austin moved out of the way and the two traded kicks. TV finally caught Austin with a knee and went for Starship Pain, but Austin moved and TV hit the mat.

The two staggered to their feet and traded punches, with Austin getting the better of TV. Austin got distracted by Valkyrie again and TV hit a heel kick. He dragged Austin to the top rope and set him up, but Austin got free and landed a headscissor. Austin hit a River, Turn and Fall and got the pin on TV.

Match Result: Ace Austin defeated Johnny TV
