ROH x MLP Global Wars to crown the first-ever MLP tag team champions

The first-ever Maple Leaf Pro tag team champions will be crowned this weekend at ROH x MLP Global Wars Canada.

MLP announced on Wednesday that the Good Brothers, Kaito Kiyomiya and Bishop Dyer, The Gates of Agony, and Bryce Hansen and Sheldon Jean will meet in a four-way tag team match at the Friday, March 27 event in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

MLP wrote:

“BREAKING NEWS: A MASSIVE Fatal Four Way match will take place THIS FRIDAY to crown the FIRST EVER MLP Tag Team Champions! Which team will claim the gold at Global Wars? Tune-in at 7PM ET on Friday to find out!”

The show is the first night of a two-night stand at the venue, with MLP set to hold its Uprising pay-per-view on Saturday, March 28.

Eight matches are now official for Friday’s ROH x MLP Global Wars Canada card.

  • ROH Women’s World Champion Athena defends against Taylor Rising
  • PWA Champion’s Grail holder Rohan Raja defends against Stu Grayson
  • ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo defends against MLP Women’s Canadian Champion Gisele Shaw
  • Jay Lethal, Blake Christian, and Lee Johnson vs. Mascara Dorada, Bhupinder Gujar, and Psycho Mike
  • Eddie Kingston and Ortiz vs. Adam Priest and Tommy Billington
  • ROH Women’s TV Champion Red Velvet defends against Alice Crowley
