Second semifinalist set in ROH Women’s Pure title tournament

A second wrestler has advanced to the semifinals round in the ROH Women’s Pure Championship tournament.

Billie Starkz defeated Olympia on Thursday’s Ring of Honor TV episode to advance to the semifinals. She joins Queen Aminata in filling two of the four spots in the semifinal round.

Aminata defeated Taya Valkyrie at Death Before Dishonor last month to secure the first semifinals berth, and will face the winner of a Trish Adora vs. Deonna Purrazzo quarterfinals matchup in the semis.

Starkz now awaits the winner of a Yuka Sakazaki vs. Serena Deeb quarterfinals matchup that will determine her semifinals opponent.

The eventual tournament winner will be crowned the first-ever Ring of Honor Women’s Pure Champion. The Women’s Pure title was originally introduced in April with a tournament originally planned to end at Supercard of Honor in July, but the initial tournament was postponed and instead began in August.

No date has been announced for the tournament finals to this point.
